About Me
My journey with Design started when I was a Sophomore at Miami University. During that time I was pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, wanting to become a Developer. The first semester as a Junior, an Intro to User Experience course caught my interest. This class taught me the basics of Wireframing, Prototyping, and following design guidelines. I found this very interesting as it felt like a happy medium between development and design. Whereas I still found web development interesting, UX design allowed me to apply that knowledge to fit my desire for creativity. This was just the beginning, after this course several others followed. I finished off my education at Miami University with incredible insights and experience in UX design.
After my education I worked as a UI/UX Designer at Organized Living. This was an incredible learning opportunity that opened my eyes to quality of life as a professional designer. I go into much more detail on this experience in the UX/UI page.
As of recently, I had the incredible opportunity to begin work as a Freelance Web Designer. This experience has been fantastic so far. Building the brand and working personally with clients to build the site of their dreams is very enjoyable for me. Now after working with a handful of clients, the lessons learned have been insightful and ones I will not take for granted. Design has been a passion of mine for years now, and it is incredible to be able to turn it into a career and personal business as well.
